Today MSC is looking for a Buyer to join its Procurement Team.

YOUR IMPACT

As part of the Procurement Team, and reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, you will play a role in supporting the various entities of the MSC Group to design robust procurement processes driving automation, efficiency & cost management.

You will:

• Analyze market trends, cost drivers and global risks to build forward-looking strategies
• Handle end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier evaluations, site audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Build and maintain a high performing supplier base capable of meeting current and future business needs
• Develop and deploy Category Souring Strategies across the organization, ensuring alignment with the various MSC Entities
• Support and Lead Negotiations and Cost Management
• Drive Supplier performance through structured reviews focused on cost, quality and delivery.
• Promote continuous improvement through automation tools to elevate the procurement processes and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance and ethical standards in line with Company Values and Governance.

Required Qualifications

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Graduate in Engineering / Procurement / Chemistry / Mathematics / Business preferred
• Analytical approach with the ability to assess market trends and Supplier capabilities
• Excellent proficiency in English. Other languages a plus.
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• High degree of flexibility
• Natural negotiator with an ability to build a continuous pipeline of cost saving initiatives
• Problem solver
