The first step was a phone screen with the SDR Manager. After a brief conversation about my past experience, interest in Glassdoor and insight in the position itself I was asked to do an onsite interview. During the onsite interview I met with 4 people in various positions on the sales team for a half hour each. What I liked about this experience is that everyone asked different questions and it felt more like a back and forth conversation versus getting grilled or put in the hot seat. After the onsite I was asked to do the "final presentation", this is where they give you a prompt/set guidelines to do a power point presentation for the current team of SDR's to talk about your experience, why you would be a good fit, why you want to work Glassdoor, etc. This final step was definitely the most nerve racking, but also a great opportunity to show the current SDR's why you would be a great asset to their team. After the presentation, the team asks you a couple follow up questions and then you meet with the manager again to get feedback and then they tell you on the spot if you got the job or not. I appreciated that they told me right away, it gave me a huge sense of relief! Overall, I had a really positive interview experience that fueled my desire to work at Glassdoor even more!

Thank you for your review. Our interview process is definitely "different" but in the end we've been able to consistently hire high performers like you.
Thank you,

I met Marijka and Caroline who made me feel so at ease from the second I walked in the door. They were both chatty and bubbly and allowed for a very open conversation. It was around my background and how my experience can relate to the position. A few competency based questions thrown in too. Mainly about what motivates you and your growth mindset. The interview was 45 minutes and the a 30 minute role play.

Overall interview process was one of the nicest interviews I’ve had.
First phone call with recruiter, (informal and get to know you and a bit on your background)
This lead to an on site interview the following week with two sales managers. Two genuine lovely women who I connected with immediately.
45 mins of competency based interview questions
Then a 15 minute mock call.

I had a phone screen with a recruiter who went through why I wanted to work there and general questions such as why I’m looking to move and my salary expectations etc. I then had a face to face interview with manager which was a 45 minute competency based interview and then a 15 minute qual call that I had to prepare for and I also had to prepare a question that was asked in the interview - how I would secure 100 opportunities in a quarter.

Question 1
How I prepared for the interview?
What I know about glassdoor?
How I perform in teams?
How I like to be managed?
My 5 year plan?
