I had a phone screen with a senior recruiter who was amazing through the entire process. I spoke to four people after her through calls and Google Hangouts and everyone was wonderful. They were transparent about the role and I could see they were passionate about their product/mission. Since the role was for their new office in Chicago, they were honest about the challenges from the start. The hiring manager was the only person I didn't have a really strong interview with so I was disappointed that I didn't get a final offer but not completely shocked. I appreciated that they called me in person to tell me that they were going with a different candidate and gave me some feedback as to why that person was selected. It's pretty rare for a tech company to provide feedback and call candidates who aren't getting an offer so I think this speaks volumes about their culture and their commitment to the hiring process.
