HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT
Shape and evolve the network reference architecture for Stadler's CBTC and Interlocking solutions, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable communication infrastructures.
Drive innovation and architectural improvements across wired and wireless networking, virtualization, network automation, and cybersecurity domains.
Lead and support system integration, testing, and validation activities to ensure compliance with operational and performance requirements.
Collaborate with project teams worldwide to tailor and implement reference architectures for customer-specific deployments.
Act as a technical expert for network-related troubleshooting and operational support.
Contribute to supplier assessment, technology evaluation, and strategic vendor selection activities.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline, with a strong focus on wired networking technologies (Layer 2 and Layer 3).
Solid expertise in network troubleshooting, communication systems, and modern networking principles, practices, and technologies.
Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware), firewalls, network management systems, and network configuration and administration.
Knowledge of wireless networking technologies (Wi-Fi, LTE, and 5G); experience in radio design and planning is considered a strong advantage.
Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages, such as Ansible and Python, to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.
