I started my interview process in Bentonville for a position in Corporate Affairs. While I received very positive feedback during my interview process, I did not get the position. I was turned down for someone with prior Walmart experience and who was local. Walmart would have had to relocate me from China to US for the job if they offered me the job. Having been turned down the offer in Bentonville, I was given strong recommendations to their Global Procurement division, located in Shenzhen China. However, the position I interviewed for has been open for a year now and while I felt positive throughout the interviews in Shenzhen. I was still turned down. I think having a position open for a long time indicates that the position is poorly formulated and thus not necessarily a good position to begin with.
