      Entretien

I found the experience being cold called for the position with WalMart Unprofessional. I received the cold call about the position and was intrigued. They offered the right salary, relocation expense, and sweetened the pot to convince me to have a conversation. The timing was not good as I was headed out of town, and they did not want to wait until I returned the following week. I agree to make some calls and reach out to find a time I will have a break from the conference to take their call. After jumping through hoops to accommodate. I call the recruiter again and solidify an appointment time. What begins with the unprofessional way they managed the situation is the call I received close of business while at dinner with conference attendees and left a rather confusing message about some type of skills testing on-line and it needed to be done before 8AM the next morning or the interview would be canceled. I jump through more hoops to take the on-line assessment and send it out. They fail to call at the appointed interview time. I wait 15 minutes and call HR. The woman answering in HR (if she worked for me ... wouldn't be) started screaming on the phone because alleging the gentleman I was asking for did not work for the company. When I insisted this was a member of Sr. Management, she told me that Sr. Management could go somewhere and do something anatomically impossible and slammed down the phone on me. She insisted no interview appointment had been scheduled. I dig through my voice mails to find the direct dial number that initially called and reached the member of management. He LOST my resume, could not find any record of the assessment, and kept me on a good 40 minutes (when he knew I was speaking on panel shortly) and I ended up telling him I had to go. Someone else called again this morning wanting to "re-schedule" and I said ... Forget about it withdrawing my interest.

      Question 1

The aptitude test was all about personality and how one would handle different situation. If you are a collaborative style manager, this is probably not the job for you.
