First things first, if you have to take telephonic interview, then what is the point of calling the candidate to your office. Then the interviewer, to start with his intro to me ,was so proud that he was working for 6 years in Capgemini(Brownie points for loyalty). Then he was a proud java certified developer. Awesome. Then interview started and he got stuck in String comparison. He did not move ahead the term Stringpool, one of the very basic concepts of Java. He didn't understand what I was trying to tell him. And interview over with a comment that I don't even know the basics. Add to the insult of Java, he was sitting in Netherlands.
Please, take the interview of the interview panel before putting them in that panel. They do nothing more than wasting everybody's time.
The recruitment process was professional and comprehensive. It began with an HR screening, followed by two technical rounds focused on .NET internals and system design. The first round covered C# advanced features and ASP.NET Core, while the second round focused on microservices architecture, SQL optimization, and design patterns.

The interview focused heavily on core JavaScript technical topics, and one coding question was asked. The session lasted for a solid hour, and the interviewer was helpful whenever I got stuck.
