I was referred to Aerotek through a friend. An internal recruiter reached out to me several days later and we set up a phone screening. After the phone screening, I was scheduled for an in-person interview with the hiring manager. The interview lasted about an hour, then I sat down with two more senior recruiters for a job shadow - about 30 minutes each. I was asked the next day to send professional references, then was contacted with a verbal job offer the day after that. The internal recruiter sent me the formal conditional job offer and link to complete a background screening.

1 initial phone screen, 1 behavioral phone interview, 1 in-office interview. Interviewers were nice and informed me I have great qualifications, but I still didn't get the job. The hiring decision is rather subjective. I guess it depends more on whether the interviewer likes you than whether you are qualified for the position.
