Well done to the Strategic Development Team who hit the sands of Port Eynon, Gower for a sustainability Beach Clean using their Sinclair Group Volunteering Day - and what a day it was! Together the team collected litter, helping protect local wildlife and made a real difference to one of our most beautiful coastal spots. This wasn't just about tidying a beach, it was about living our core values and giving back to the environment that gives so much to us. A huge thanks to Richard Seaward and his team - Maria, Victoria, Grant, Dean, Chris and Jonathan (pictured) - you guys certainly Belong for Good!

As part of Sinclair Group’s 80th year celebrations, a series of events will be taking place over the coming months to raise important funds for local cancer charities. We've chosen to do this as we've recently we've seen the impact cancer has had on a number of our employees and their loved ones. Our Sinclair Volkswagen division have chosen to raise money with a golf challenge! Two teams set out to complete 80 holes of golf in one day, consisting of playing back-to-back 18 holes with another 4 at the end to make up the 80. With over 17 miles of walking and over 37,500 steps, the day began at 8:50am with the final hole complete around 7pm. There were some very tired bodies on both teams at the end of the day but everyone agreed that it was all worth it to raise vital funds. A monumental effort – well done to Chris, Adam, Julian, Andrew, Alex, David, Nick and Matt! The two teams were representing both USA & Europe in true Ryder Cup style. So far the team are over 50% of the way to their target, having raised a fantastic £1,054 so far. If you’d like to donate, there is still time! We greatly appreciate every donation which can be made through our JustGiving page. Tap the link here: https://bit.ly/3H1z8hE
Clive Williams, Group Operations Manager at Sinclair Group explains how the CEIC programme has helped the business tackle various challenges regarding resource efficiency and reuse of materials. Sinclair Group have partnered up with EMR (European Metal Recycling) - another CEIC programme participant organisation to recycle their vehicle metal and plastic. Other initiatives they have since been working on is the recycling of number plates into -among other things -prosthetic limbs, and the re-use of engine oil by refining it and blending it with virgin oil, as well as reuse of the cardboard bailed at one of their sites. Find out more about our CEIC circular economy innovation programme here: https://ceicwales.org.uk/ This project has been funded by the UK Government under the Shared Prosperity Fund.

Sinclair Group were delighted to recently welcome Pobl to our Sinclair Volkswagen dealership to capture a day in the life of our valued colleague, Nick, who as of 2025 has been employed by Sinclair Group for 30 years! Although assumptions may be made that Nick's disabilities would prevent him from being in long-term employment, the reality is that he is more than capable of contributing meaningfully to his team and workplace - just as any other person would. In this video you'll find out about the qualities that Nick brings to the workplace and the friendships he has forged. We also hear from Nick's colleagues who tell us just how he makes a true difference in what can often be a fast-paced and pressured business. Our Head of Business, Nick Payne, perfectly states in the video: "It's not about the disability, it's about the individual." By being a part of this project with Pobl, we hope to challenge stigma and showcase what’s possible when a person is presented with an opportunity and the correct support.
