Celebrating Our Aspiring Managers Development Programme 🎉 Last year, we launched our Aspiring Managers Development Programme with 12 dedicated colleagues who committed their time and energy to strengthening their leadership skills, expanding their understanding of management responsibilities, and preparing for future opportunities within the business. As part of the programme, each participant delivered a business improvement project that created real financial impact for their department. They presented their work to senior leaders and excelled across the board. Every participant has now received a certificate recognising their commitment to personal and professional growth. We’re also proud to share that three participants progressed into management roles during the programme — a fantastic achievement that reflects their ambition, hard work, and readiness to take on new challenges. The programme was designed to build confidence, capability, and a strong pipeline of future leaders, and it’s inspiring to see the positive impact already taking shape. A huge well done to everyone who took part. The photo below features nine of our attendees at a celebration event at the Coed‑Y‑Mwstwr Hotel, where they were presented with their certificates by Jonathan Sinclair. We look forward to seeing what this talented group achieves next.
Celebrating our People at Sinclair Group Earlier this month, we brought together colleagues who reached 20, 30 and 40 years of service in 2025 for a relaxed Afternoon Tea at the Coed y Mwster Hotel. What made the day special wasn't just the milestone numbers - it was the stories, the laughter, and the genuine pride shared around the room. Each person recognised has played a part in shaping who we are today, contributing their talent, energy and loyalty over many years. Events like this remind us that our culture is built by people who show up for one another, grow with us and help make the Sinclair Group a place where long careers can flourish.
Teamwork in Action for an Incredible Cause Tŷ Hafan’s annual Christmas Tree Recycling Scheme is one of those community initiatives that truly brings people together. Each year, volunteers and local businesses join forces to collect real Christmas trees from homes across South Wales — including Bridgend, Porthcawl and Pencoed — in exchange for a donation that supports vital children’s hospice care. This year, our fantastic colleagues from Sinclair Direct, Sinclair Finance & Leasing and Audi Bridgend braved the cold Welsh weather to support the Tŷ Hafan 2026 Christmas Tree Collection. Their energy, teamwork and commitment made a real difference. We’re incredibly proud to continue backing this wonderful charity and helping raise essential funds for children and families who rely on Tŷ Hafan’s care. Well done to everyone involved — your efforts truly matter.
Celebrating Adam John – Our BYD 200 Club Superstar! We love celebrating standout talent at Sinclair Group, and hitting 200+ car sales is no small feat. That’s exactly why the Sinclair 200 Club exits – to spotlight the people who constantly raise the bar. Big applause for Adam John (pictured above accepting his award), who’s officially joined this elite group after selling over 200 BYD vehicles in 2025.. It’s a incredible milestone and a true testament to his drive, energy and customer-first approach. Adam’s accomplishment is a brilliant example of what’s possible when dedication, hard work and a passion for exceptional customer service come together. We’re incredibly proud of him and grateful for the positivity and momentum he brings to the business every day.
🎄 Supporting Our Communities This Christmas 🎄 A huge thank you to our amazing colleagues at Mercedes‑Benz and BYD Bridgend, who have been hard at work collecting donations for Bridgend Foodbank. Their generosity – and the generosity of everyone who contributed – will make a real difference to local families this Christmas. And it doesn’t stop there. Across the Group, our sites have been gathering substantial donations for foodbanks in their own communities. We’re incredibly proud of the collective effort and the positive impact it will have during a time when support matters most. Thank you to every team member who got involved. Your kindness is helping make Christmas brighter for those who need it most.
♻️ 20 Tonnes of Carbon Saved.. and We’re Just Getting Started. Over the last six months, our Van Centres, Bodyshop, and Mercedes‑Benz of Swansea have been on a mission — collecting metal and plastic for recycling — and the results are huge. 🔥20+ tonnes of carbon saved 🚗 That’s the same as nearly 100,000 miles driven in a diesel car 🌍All thanks to our teams pulling together Every bit recycled is a win for the planet, and this is proof that small actions add up to big change. Massive shoutout to everyone involved for making a real difference. 📸 Christopher Brown (EMR) with David Price and Clive Williams at our Swansea Bodyshop.
Men Understanding Menopause & Mental Health Last week we hosted a Menopause Workshop specifically for our male colleagues — and it was a real success. The session was led by Bobbie, whose knowledge and openness created a safe, engaging space for learning. Everyone who attended came away feeling far more aware, informed, and—most importantly—more understanding of the symptoms people may experience. It was a genuinely valuable and eye‑opening workshop, and we’re proud to support conversations that help build empathy, confidence, and a more inclusive workplace for everyone.
🎄 The annual Sinclair Group Children’s Christmas Party returned this past weekend at Margam Park — and what a magical day it was! This much‑loved event is free for all Sinclair Group colleagues and their families, and it’s one of our favourite ways to give back and celebrate the season together. From heart‑warming visits to Santa’s grotto and festive games, to lively entertainment and plenty of Christmas cheer, the day was packed with fun for all ages🎅✨
🎄Spreading Christmas Cheer Across South Wales 🎁 We’re incredibly proud to once again support the Mr X Christmas Appeal, a remarkable charity working with more than 150 agencies across South Wales to ensure children from low‑income and disadvantaged households receive gifts at Christmas. Thanks to the kindness, enthusiasm and generosity of our colleagues across our Bridgend and Swansea businesses, we’re delighted to be donating presents to 121 children this year. The photos from today’s drop‑off say it all — a fantastic team effort and a true celebration of community spirit. A special thank you to Victoria Crawford, for coordinating this year’s Group donations. Reflecting on the collection, Victoria shared: “I’ve been blown away by the support from so many people, and it’s wonderful that we’re able to help local children in such a meaningful way this Christmas. Thank you everyone for your generosity.” ❤️🎅
