Last week, Riverside Research interns Seth Derstine, Dheeraj Gosula, Ben Russell, and Phil Trzaska successfully completed a five-day rapid prototyping event to develop and demonstrate a data pipeline for ingesting, storing, relating, managing, and visualizing streaming resident space object (RSO) data. The team used Amazon Web Services (AWS) for workflow integration and deployment and Grafana for data visualization. At the end of the week, they demonstrated the prototype to stakeholders. The interns are members of Riverside Research’s Commercial Innovation Center (CIC) and Software Applications Team (SWAT). The successful prototype will be transferred by the CIC to monitor system performance and data metrics as part of a planned demonstration to our government customers.
