Invitation Homes is excited to announce that we have entered a joint venture with Quarterra Group, Centerbridge Partners, L.P., and other investors, acquiring a minority equity interest in a portfolio of single-family rental (SFR) homes that are part of the Upward America joint venture. In addition, Upward America has chosen our company to provide management services to 4,400 homes, largely located in Florida, Texas, and the Carolinas.
To celebrate Earth Day 2024, nearly 100 Invitation Homes employees volunteered their time at Hollywood Beach in South Florida for a beach clean-up. The city of Hollywood has banned single-use plastics and balloons, so our team was extremely conscious of their own footprint during their time at the beach. This year, Invitation Homes provided drink tumblers for water, paper straws, canned water and beverages, and washable/recyclable litter bags for the associates removing debris and plastic from the coastline. This important volunteer work will help curb the effects of pollution on marine life. From the entire Invitation Homes team, Happy Earth Day!

Invitation Homes is proud to partner with local trade schools to help provide resources and education to students interested in the skilled trades field. “I am interested in acquiring a better job by studying in the Property Maintenance program. I have a family and this scholarship will help me reach my goals and provide more for my wife and kids,” said Beadiemariam, a student at Renton Technical College. Through the hard work of skilled trades professionals, Invitation Homes is able to deliver a worry-free leasing lifestyle for residents across the U.S. We’re thrilled to see continued enthusiasm among students for lucrative careers in this important field.
Invitation Homes employees in South Florida spent the day volunteering with students at the Junior Achievement of South Florida BizTown. Invitation Homes associates guided students through BizTown as they learned what it was like to open bank accounts, work in a professional setting, provide customer service, and vote. February 1 marks the beginning of hashtag#BlackHistoryMonth, a time to reflect on the contributions and achievements of the Black community. At Invitation Homes, we have been fortunate to learn and grow with the help of our employee resource group, The Black Collective. This group fosters an inclusive environment by recognizing diversity and the Black experience at Invitation Homes and spearheads initiatives that support our associates and the communities we serve.
