5 things you don’t know about one of our beloved Research Technical Leaders, Rony Kelner: 1. Before diving into a decade of security research, Rony built a solid career in coding. He advanced from Developer to Senior Developer to Architect, mastering operating systems along the way. That deep expertise now powers his current role. 2. In 2023, Rony relocated from Israel to Tokyo, Japan! 3. Rony has been with Cellebrite Labs, our research unit, for the past 10 years. He started on the Android team and now works with the iOS team (he loves good challenges, and that’s where he finds them today). 4. His journey began when he sought more complex challenges beyond his development career. He seized an opportunity at the Labs, which included a 4-month career shift course for future potential researchers. 4 months after the course, he discovered his first vulnerability. 5. When he’s not tracking down vulnerabilities, Rony enjoys diving into life’s big questions. In his words: “It’s truly rewarding to exchange ideas and reflect on topics like happiness and purpose. Jaeho Jung is a Sales Director who joined us three years ago after 22 years in the industry. Today, he helps Korean law enforcement agencies streamline investigative processes using our products. “I can honestly say I'm extremely proud of where I am today. I provide solutions that help reduce crime, work with brilliant people inside and outside Cellebrite, and, most importantly, get to do what I love. Over the past few years in this role, I’ve had the opportunity to assist with complex cases and provide support in the fight against cybercrime. At the end of the day, it’s all about making my community here in Korea safer. He’s a Customer Success Manager, focused on helping customers reach their goals and maximize the value of our products through strong relationships and his technological expertise. 2. He was adopted from South Korea at age 9, which was a total game-changer for him: "My new parents gave me a home and a second chance at life. These experiences shaped who I am and brought me to where I am today at Cellebrite." 3.
