This week, we kicked off our International Pride Month celebration by decorating our global offices with pride and hosting a Zoom lecture by Jonathan Elkhoury, an Israeli-Lebanese LGBTQ+ rights activist. The lecture, titled "From Lebanon to Israel: Pride and Public Diplomacy," was held in collaboration with LGBTech, our partner in underscoring our dedication to fostering a sense of belonging for the LGBTQ+ community and reaffirming our commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for everyone.
"Six and a half years ago, I joined Cellebrite as a QA professional, and today, I am credited with leading my first product from scratch. Yes, you understood correctly, it was quite a journey that started when some colleagues from my previous company moved here and introduced me to Cellebrite. When we caught up months later, one of them told me about the QA team atmosphere and a position that had just opened there. It wasn't easy to leave the project management career I had built, but Cellebrite's mission intrigued me enough to make the move. With a professional growth mindset, I went for it, and for a year, I manually tested life-changing products. Thanks to continuous learning, previous experience as a Scrum Master, and a C language course that Cellebrite provided to employees, I was promoted to automation development and even implemented the first automation in one of the products here. When I wanted to get closer to our truly fascinating customers, I seized an internal opportunity and started a new chapter as a Product Owner. During these three and a half years, I learned about the world of product management and underwent an internal mentoring course, which served as a springboard to my current role as a Product Manager. My journey involved moving between different products and departments, and in the past year, I worked with wonderful people and a talented manager to bring 'Autonomy' to life, the pride of my career."
“Hey, I'm Romi, and after working in senior positions at some big companies, I joined Cellebrite as the company's Treasurer. Nowadays, I handle hundreds of millions of dollars invested in Israel and around the world. It all kicked off four months before Cellebrite went public. The pressure was intense, especially when you're relatively new and responsible for all the company's cash and investments. Sure, in the past, I've led some significant acquisitions and financing deals, but an IPO is something I have always wanted to do but never got the chance to do. Anyone who knows me knows that when there's a challenge, I'm the first to tackle it. After a few crazy months of non-stop work, we finally went public. Some might think that's where the challenge ends, but it's just the start. Working alongside the finance team, we dealt with dividends, built investment portfolios, and expanded banking activities - but let's save that for another post. Areas like cash flows, currency risks, and corporate insurance became more critical than ever and made these last three years incredibly satisfying. You could say each day brings something new - but honestly, even outside of work, there's plenty that brings a smile to my face. Romi is also one of the Israeli Corporate Treasury Forum founders.
Wow, what an amazing woman! Last week, on our Israeli site, we had the honor of hosting Mrs. Sarah Weinstein. Sarah, a Holocaust survivor, was born in Poland in 1935 to a religious Jewish family. After the Nazis murdered her mother in front of her eyes, her family fled to the forest, where they hid for three years. Sarah emerged from the forest at the age of 9, after enduring prolonged cold and hunger, weighing only 15 kilograms. Immediately after the family left the forest, her father was also murdered. Sarah and her sisters were taken to Krakow, where they were rescued by a Holocaust survivor named Lena Kichler, who dedicated her life to saving Jewish children. She arrived in Israel in 1947 at Kibbutz Givat Haim. In Israel, she met her husband and started a family. Since then, Sarah has accompanied groups on trips to Poland as a witness, sharing her story wherever possible, and dedicating her life to passing on her important messages to future generations. We had the privilege of hearing her story. Thank you, Sarah!
Until a few years ago, I worked in different companies, improving their information systems. Along the way, I've worked in communication firms, banks, and even public transportation companies. Despite my years in the field, I hadn't had the chance to accelerate justice elsewhere - So yes, when an opportunity arose, I jumped on it!. Today I'm proud, smiling, and thinking how strange it is that two years have flown by since I entered the offices and joined the fantastic IT team. Here, I manage and handle various cases that come to us from all over the world. Additionally, I identify and enhance existing processes in Cellebrite to make them more efficient. Throughout my career, I've been part of massive-scale projects, but one of the things I'm most proud of is my role in establishing a new Tier 1 IT team in Romania. With the help of relevant departments, we built a highly skilled team equipped with all the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. Currently, I'm heavily involved in a challenging project, redefining how we manage and operate tickets in our system. This might be another thing I love about this place: we're not afraid to break things that work well to make them work much better. Maybe that's what made Cellebrite a market leader, or perhaps it's just another small thing I appreciate. Either way, it's great to know that what I'm doing contributes to our primary goal: enabling law enforcement agencies to deal with technologies exploited by criminals."
"In 2008, I had the chance to help set up a digital forensics unit (DFU) for a prosecutor's office to handle the increasing use of digital evidence. I relied heavily on a well-known Cellebrite product, which really got me excited about Cellebrite's technology and solutions. Later in my career, I became a detective responsible for modernizing my department's management of physical and digital evidence. The knowledge I gained from this experience led me to establish my own company, PD Evidence, a few years down the line. In 2021, PD Evidence and I were invited to join Cellebrite, and since then, I've had an amazing and extraordinary experience. As a Director of Product Management, I'm bringing my experience from our user community to Cellebrite, enabling us to innovate and continue solving problems while promoting Cellebrite's solutions to industry challenges. I live in Pennsylvania with my wife, our two daughters, and Trixie, our 70KG / 150lbs Great Dane. If I'm not traveling for work, you'll likely find me spending quality time with them, fishing, or working from my home office. Joining Cellebrite to advance justice worldwide has allowed me to collaborate with talented product experts, developers, quality testers, marketers, and sales professionals to make communities much safer. I'm incredibly proud of the people I work with, our shared goal, and the way Cellebrite leads the industry as a market leader." Ryan Parthemore is a valuable Director of Product Management.
Hello, I'm Zahra, an Assistant Controller in our Finance team. Prior to joining Cellebrite, I spent time at a Big 4 accounting firm, overseeing client service audits, and later served as a Tax Manager in the fashion industry. With 15 years of experience under my belt, I received an intriguing offer to join Cellebrite and apply my expertise to contribute to a safer world. Naturally, I accepted. Today I oversee tax compliance and reporting, along with providing audit defense for our company's clients in North America. These law enforcement organizations are focused on combating criminals who exploit technology and digital devices for their own gain. Transitioning to Cellebrite marked a significant change for me, as I ventured into a completely new industry with its own unique challenges. The past three and a half years, were an enriching journey, both professionally and personally. From immersing myself in the rich history and vibrant work culture of Israel during visits to our headquarters to being part of the company's official IPO, my role as an Assistant Controller here has been far from ordinary. It has definitely added a distinctive element to my career.
What a night! In a prime venue in Tel Aviv, nearly 100 Israeli vulnerability researchers gathered to network and enrich themselves with two professional talks at the first-ever NoOFFENSE event powered by Cellebrite!
"About a year and a half ago, I joined Cellebrite with a big smile after concluding a 15-year chapter in the Singapore Police Force as an IT Manager, alongside various roles such as a Public Affairs Officer. I was excited to begin my new journey as a Customer Success Manager here. After spending 15 years in the field, I can confidently say I've developed a passion for digital forensic work. Anyone in this industry knows that once you delve into it, you realize the unmatched power of market leader, Cellebrite. It felt like a natural transition from the public to the private sector within the same field. Now, I take immense pride in working for a company whose products not only exonerate the innocent but also bring wrongdoers to justice. In my role, I maintain close connections with my customers in the APAC region. I understand their needs and offer support in various ways - from assisting them in defining their objectives to ensuring they maximize the benefits of Cellebrite’s products. Throughout my journey here, I've had numerous memorable experiences, from attending the SKO event in Israel to being part of some great success stories. However, what truly fulfills me is knowing that we all contribute to accelerating justice. At the end of the day, we all play a role in making communities safer, and in my opinion, that's the greatest satisfaction one can derive from their workplace."
"I've spent my entire life here in Tel Aviv. When it came time to choose a degree, it was a no-brainer that every choice I made would involve staying in this city. As a student pursuing an information systems degree here, I was thrilled to discover the power of data and its potential applications. I turned this passion into a six-year career, starting as a junior and eventually landing at Cellebrite. When people ask about my job, I often feel like Chandler from 'Friends' – no one really understands what I do. But I get it; it's hard to grasp the concept of a high-tech company serving specific law enforcement organizations worldwide. That's when I usually say: 'I process data using BI tools and create dashboards that enhance products, provide greater value to our customers, and enable teams to make data-driven decisions.' I do this daily with fantastic people who have been part of my life since I started here a year and a half ago and with a remarkable team leader who continually pushes me to excel. But for the next 26 hours, I'll collaborate from a different angle to build a safer world. In the heart of the city where I was born and raised, talented, intelligent, and queer women have gathered to think and create technological solutions for the challenges faced by the pride community and other communities affected by the 07.10 terror attack. I couldn't be prouder to be a part of it and of my workplace, Cellebrite." Maayan Reuven is a BI developer
