Lance and First Officer Matias recently returned to their alma mater in Lynchburg to fly the Flames to Louisiana for a football game! During their visit, Lance reunited with a former flight instructor and the two pilots spent some quality time swapping stories and offering advice to a few of Liberty University’s current aviation students enrolled in Allegiant’s Accelerate Pilot Pathway. Coming full circle — from their days as Liberty students to flying their alma mater’s football team on an Allegiant jet — these pilots are living proof that passion, training, and a little school pride can take you far!

Not only were the Notre Dame cheerleaders and Leprechaun on-hand to help celebrate, but every single passenger on the flight got an awesome Notre Dame swag bag and an Allegiant travel voucher for $250 towards their next trip! #GoIrish

From navigating TSA checkpoints to boarding an aircraft and even staying focused at a busy baggage carousel, these future service dogs are gaining the confidence they need to support their partners every step of the way.

Say hello to Victor, Allegiant’s manager of Inflight Training Operations! With more than a decade of experience spanning many facets of our Inflight team, Victor’s journey has been nothing short of inspiring. Victor joined Allegiant as a Flight Attendant in 2014 and spent seven of those years as an Inflight Field Instructor. In addition, Victor spent ten years as a Flight Attendant Recruiter, successfully helping more than 2,000 Allegiant flight attendants earn their wings! Ready for a new challenge, in April 2024, Victor took on the position of Manager of Inflight Planning and Administration, overseeing essential aspects of our Inflight Team, such as flight attendant planning, bidding process, scheduling, and uniforms. Most recently, he stepped into a new role leading Inflight Training Operations, overseeing the day-to-day aspects of Flight Attendant Training, and leading our inflight instructor team. “From day one, I felt like I was part of something special and wanted to grow my career here,” said Victor. As a Crew Travel Coordinator, she serves as a trusted resource for our traveling crew members. Whether it’s booking flights, hotels, or ground transportation, answering questions, or helping with last-minute needs, she keeps our crews moving smoothly. 🧡 Her favorite part? Being someone her teammates can always count on. 💬 Her best advice? “Give it six months. Every new role takes time to learn.” Clearly, hard work pays off!
