This holiday season, our hashtag#AkamaiCostaRica Teams came together to spread joy and create unforgettable moments for children from the Asociación Lucha Contra el Cáncer Infantil. With the help of 100+ generous employees, they collected 120 gifts for children ages 0–7 and wrapped them with love during Santa’s Workshop. 🎁 They also hosted a magical Christmas party for 100 children, filled with food, music, games, robots, face painting, Santa, and even a mischievous Grinch! 🎄 A heartfelt thank you to every volunteer, donor, and helper who made this possible. Your generosity, time, and teamwork brought smiles, warmth, and true holiday magic.
Once upon a winter day at hashtag#AkamaiPoland… ✨🌲 Our office transformed overnight into a Magic Forest and instead of laptops and meetings, it was filled with families, laughter, and wide-eyed little explorers. From a spellbinding magic show and creative holiday workshops, to a VR and robotics zone where technology met imagination, magic was waiting around every corner. In total, over 800 children, parents, and colleagues brought the forest to life and turned an ordinary winter day into something truly special. A huge thank you to the Poland Social Fund for sponsoring this unforgettable experience and to everyone who helped make these magical memories possible.

Happy International Day of Persons with Disabilities 💙♿ At Akamai, inclusion means everyone, everywhere. In Reach is our community for employees with disabilities or mental health conditions, and for those supporting loved ones who do. Recently, In Reach India partnered with Goodera to assemble and distribute walker frames through Maya CARE, promoting mobility and dignity for older adults. In Costa Rica, we hosted an Art Therapy session to explore disability and mental health awareness, breaking the stigma and celebrating diverse experiences. In the U.S., In Reach held a virtual event to support and educate employees caring for dependents with Individualized Education Program. Globally, In Reach also holds monthly community hours for connection and support all year round. Akamai is proud to champion diversity, accessibility, and inclusion for all. 💪
This year’s theme for picnic day at hashtag#AkamaiAustralia was all things ice cream, and our Akamites didn’t disappoint!
