I was sent an email about 2 weeks after I applied that I was moving forward in the process and to complete a 5 prompt writing assignment as the first step.
The writing prompt took me a few hours to complete over two days because of the details involved. They wanted to you compose emails to fake candidates; find actual hotel and flight reservations for a visiting candidate, and complete an itinerary and budget for a college recruiting day.
I sent the writing assignment the next day. Almost THREE WEEKS later, I received an email saying thanks for completing the assignment we filled the position. Just like that. So rude and unprofessional and a waste of my time. I felt like I wasn't even seriously being considered with that kind of response.

Pretty fair interview process. However, would’ve preferred the 2nd interview to be split up into 2 parts as opposed to putting it in all one session and making it 3 hours long.

The interview process wasn’t hard but from my personal experience it wasn’t as orderly as it should have been. I applied for a role and made it to the last round. The day before I my last interview was set I got a call from one of the recruiters telling me they just realized I’m not in the time zone/area they need. It felt unprofessional and could have been avoided.
Everyone was extremely friendly and wanted to find a good fit. They were happy to talk in great detail about team structure, compensation, company mission, and how the tech recruiting team fits in that. I did find it a bit odd that they kept mentioning how they liked to be publicly quirky.
