The SF office called me for a first round interview over the phone. Asked basic questions: what is yelp, why do you want to work for the position, what do we sell, blah blah. They told me I had a second round interview the next day. However, I did not know how into sales I really was until I read the rest of these posts listed on the reviews. I was convinced I didn't want to go through all the trouble of cold calling, being assigned random territories with no telling how difficult they might be, and the low pay. BUST.

The interview process was pleasant from start to finish. It included a recruiter phone screen, a video call with the sales manager, a role play exercise, and the opportunity to implement the manager’s feedback.

Question 1
One question they asked during my interview was what specifically about the role made me feel it was a strong fit for my background and experience.
The interview process with Yelp was a very organized experience. From the first email after I put in my application, to the offer extension call, I always felt well informed and included.
It was a one time interview over video call with a pre call before. One on one with a training manager. Pretty simple not too hard at all. Lasted 30 minutes with questions and role plays.
