Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Yelp (Phoenix, AZ) en mai 2010

Yelp typically brings in 15-30 new Account Executive trainees every two months, depending on the location and market needs. This means they probably interview 200-300 candidates via phone for an initial screening (after resumes are weeded through). This interview was very easy. Mainly just a check to make sure the resume wasn't fabricated and you can communicate with a human-being. Second portion of the interview process consisted of three 15 minute one-on-ones on location (in my case, Phoenix). I had to pay for my flight and transportation to get myself there. The interviews were fairly casual and ordinary. Expect to do some role playing (i.e. Pretend the interviewer is a business owner and you are an account executive, keep the business owner on the phone as long as possible and develop interest), which is probably what I struggled with the most and why I didn't get the job.

J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé un entretien chez Yelp (Austin, TX) en mai 2026

The interview process was pleasant from start to finish. It included a recruiter phone screen, a video call with the sales manager, a role play exercise, and the opportunity to implement the manager’s feedback.

Question 1
One question they asked during my interview was what specifically about the role made me feel it was a strong fit for my background and experience.
The interview process with Yelp was a very organized experience. From the first email after I put in my application, to the offer extension call, I always felt well informed and included.
It was a one time interview over video call with a pre call before. One on one with a training manager. Pretty simple not too hard at all. Lasted 30 minutes with questions and role plays.
