Applied for the position of Operations Manager at a local RAF base. Met 90% of the criteria and experience wanted for the role. Unfortunately, I did not make it through the paper sift. I received an email to say I'd been unsuccessful which was disappointing but appreciated being made aware. However, I requested feedback on where my application had fallen short as this would have been helpful to know where pmy skill set was deemed to be lacking for future opportunities. Sadly, the email correspondence was from a no reply email address. I found this to be very unhelpful.
