Fill out application form and wait for a call back. Somehow, I was able to get a contract for a short term position. I kept getting it renewed for close to 6 months. During the time I was working on a contract, I looked around for full time posts and met a lot of people. I let them know I was looking for full-time work and eventually was hired for a permanent position.
