Competency based interview meaning that interview panel will examine the competencies of incumbent by asking questions related to the competencies he/she should possess.
They invite you for written test if the amount of shortlisted candidates higher than 10 persons.

why you think you are suitable for this position? or Why you have applied for this position? (this is introduction question, just to warm up the candidate)
Questions are based on competence and experience. One must have a scenario to answer the questions asked. Four set of questions are normally asked based on your worked experience. Avoid being nervous during the interview process.

How do you manage a difficult staff member while working in a team?
Intimidating in the beginning as interview was conducted with a panel of 4 people, but eased in to it as I drew from previous experiences to answer questions that were competency based.

I apply, get the invitation for written test after few days. Wait for 2 week to take the written test and then the interview. Everything takes around 3 months.

1. Describe the time when your team has to collaborate with other team. What was the challenge and how you encourage the collaboration to take the initiative?

2. Explain the time when you have to adjust your team plan due to unanticipated challenge?
(Competency: Planning and Organizing)
3. Describe a situation when you have to push yourself to achieve a demanding goal?
(Competency: Drive for Results)
