I was invited for a group interview in Melbourne. There were about 30 other applicants there, and managers from both stores present. We started by sitting at a table in a group of about 5-6. We needed to introduce ourselves to a partner and then introduce our partner to the entire room. After that, they presented a number of jewellery pieces to each table and we role played, one person being a customer and the other being a sales professional. A manager listened to the role plays. They were really looking for interaction with customers rather than product knowledge. After this we got into groups and brainstormed what customer service meant to us and some examples of good customer service. As a table group, we presented our ideas to the rest of the room. This was the entire interview process. I received a call about a week later and was offered the job which I accepted.

The interview process was based on applications submitted through their company website. I was emailed about a week after and scheduled to complete my 1st interview the following week. About 2 weeks after the interview, I was scheduled to return for a 2nd interview. It has been well over a week since the 2nd interview and I have yet to have heard back. No followup thereafter. Extremely unprofessional and unorganized. Not something you’d expect from LVMH.
