I was interviewed by Siemens in the month of August- 2015. It was a recruitment drive (had not informed).
Process was:
1) Written test
Write a program along with logic in 20 mins. Out of almost 50, only 15-20 went for the next round
2) Technical round
Interviewer was awesome. He was very friendly. He asked me to explain the logic for my program followed by DS fundamentals like searching, sorting, time complexity and some questions related to parallel processing.
3) Technical round (Manager + team lead)
Questions were on projects(at depth level), design patterns, some scenario based on questions on designing of the software using design patterns.
4) Technical round (Team lead- may be)
Basic programming questions.
5) HR round
Like above this also went well.
Final result: Did not receive offer which they had promised. Possible reason- My high demand which they did not digest.
But my interview journey with Siemens did not end here. After 2 months they gave me a call and asked me to visit the centre for interview.
This time, I was the only person which had come for the interview.
Process was:
1) Technical round- Projects, parallel processing, STL, DS fundamentals
2) Technical round- Only design patterns, Scenario based questions like how to break cyclic dependency.
3) Manager round- General questions. Just tried to check whether I can stay there for a long time or not.
4) HR round: I still asked the same amount what I had asked last time. But way of asking was different.
Result: They offered me there upper salary for my year of experience and I am happy with that amount. So, coming March-2016, I am going to join Siemens.
