Being a Technologist & People Manager, I found Salesforce Interviewing Process is extremely incompetent as such,they demand lot of time slots for Interviews.Simply speaking they cannot Identify a RIGHT CANDIDATE with 1 or 2 Interviews.
1 Round with Hiring Manager, 2 Rounds with Onsite Senior Leadership , 2 Rounds with Offshore Leader ship.
They are So much confused by virtue of which they will find a Senior Candidate Fitment for a Role after So many discussions ,It shows how Incompetent they are.
Worst part is though they will offer free lunch in their cafeteria ,there would be loads of questions while we are having lunch.
My advice is not to fall in trap of office ambience,show off culture with false, deceptive smiling.It takes at least 5 more years to become mature.
Finally they lack transperancy and clarity in hiring prospective leaders.

I cleared the first round of online web based interview, and then had in-person interview in Indiana with 4 different interviewers. The interview was not difficult and looked to be average questions getting to know about me and past experience, and about them.

Which part of the country did i study from, and where I am from in the middle of the interview? (To give a background, I saw one Asian interviewing me. I am also an Asian. I am from southern part of an Asian country, and I could clearly make out he is from the northern part of an Asian country due to his stronger accent. He was trying to find out about me in the middle of the interview. It was a clear discrimination from then on, he was only trying to find out only flaws). There is no reason to ask these kind of questions to a candidate, and it is important to focus on the talent an individual brings. It's a shame these kind of candidates make to the interviewers list.

I must say this is the best interview process I have ever gone through and starting from the recruiter Daniel to the hiring team everyone is so great and give you a great experience.They make you feel already a part of their ohana and take care of each detail of the process so nicely that you get to know that salesforce is a awesome place to work.

The interview process went a lot faster than I expected. The folks I spoke with were kind, smart, and passionate about what they do.
The whole process took a little over 3 weeks, but there was a week where the team was off for an on-site.
My experience with the recruiting team is also top-notch, they were prompt in responding to questions and interview scheduling.
