J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Salesforce (Dublin, Dublin) en juin 2018

Excellent. Straight forward. No beating around the bush. Relevant to the role itself. The process involved an initial phone call from the internal recruitement team who discusse the role in general and if i was interested to proceed. Thereafter (scheduled) a phone call with a senior engineer/lead who asked about my experience (based on CV) and just a couple of questions to see my experience of linux, scripting. Basically i explained my experience. The technical questions are just to assess the current level of canditate as long as you are not bluffing. Thereafter I was called for a face to face interview which was conducted with 4 people( 2 senior managers and 2 senior engineers). It involved a general discussion about my previous job roles to see what kind of experience i had and at what level i was (based on my CV). A few technical questions based on what i had mentioned in my CV i.e Linux and GIT version control. Again those were just to see at what level i am. A few behavioral ability test questions like examples of difficult situations etc based on previous job roles. I had a detailed discussion about the offered role itself, as to what it was all about. What trainings would be offered and the culture of the company.
The next day i got a call from the internal recruitment team with the feedback and was offered the job :)
At the last moment when i had sign the contract,i got offeres for another similar role in another company to which i had also applied. With great difficulty i chose the other compnay role only due to the difference of technology stack involved as i wanted to get some experience in the other technology a bit more than this one (if it wws possible to work for both roles at the same time, i would have done it :)) Other than this, i was really looking forward to joing Salesforce and i still do for the near future. I would definitelty recommend Salesforce.

A call with the recruiter and then a second interview with the Director of Cloud engineering and an engineer.
The interview was the worst I ever had. I wasnt expecting that from Salesforce! It was completely unprofessional with inappropriate assumptions. The interviewers did not know how to interview at all. I havent seen such a bad behavior in this field before. I can only assume that this is a toxic place to work.
The role by the way is not SRE as they advertise, its just a NOC job.

J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Salesforce (Dublin, Dublin) en nov. 2021

The process was pretty straight forward and it took nearly 2 months to do it. Overall, interview was pretty easy and nothing difficult. This position reminded me of a NOC Engineer not SRE. There is no need to be technical for this position as it look more like Support job. I was told after 6 interview that I am to technical and would not suit this team. They told me that they will reach out to me with other poisiton but still no sign. Looks like it was just a promise that will never happen. Overall with interview was happy but company's reputation went down the drain and would not recommend technically savy people apply as they will just loose their time doing this interview.
