A very professional process from start to finish, with continuous communication throughout. It commenced with a telephone conversation with the lead recruiter (after initial employee referral). Thereafter I was invited to the London World Tour to meet with Directors & VP’s managing various parts of the business. It also was an eye-opener to the cultural tone of the company. A few weeks later the recruiter (Ben) explained the next steps would be a Discovery Call with a fictitious company (describing their business challenges) followed by a Panel Discussion representing the board of the company. Those few weeks prior to the Discovery Call (with Hiring Manager), and prior to the Panel Meeting, where a presentation & Demo is given, needs comprehensive preparation. The Panel Meeting was a focused 1hr including Q&A. After feedback from the recruiter regarding the outcome of the Panel Meeting, it was followed by a 2hr interview with both the Hiring Manager & VP of Division (1-line above Hiring Manager), which explored background, experience etc. This was followed by 1hr interview with a Senior VP where the cultural fit, was determined.

A recruiter reached out to me multiple times, and when I finally took the call, it turned out to be a standard placement conversation as they’re currently hiring SEs across several teams. After a 30 minute screening, during which I clearly stated my location, the recruiter informed me that all new SE hires are required to follow a mandatory hybrid in-office schedule. Despite knowing I don’t live near a major office, they said I would need to relocate before proceeding with the interview process. Never heard back after the first meeting.
