I received an invitation for a phone interview within a week after applying on-line. The interview was conducted by a recruiter and questions focused on background with relatively little attention to qualification, motivation or discussion about the actual job. The recruiter explained the decision making process and the length of time it would take to hear about possible next steps. I received an email within a week to let me know that I was not selected. The interview and communication around it were professionally conducted.
