I will not go on specifics in respect of the NDA and my company. I had 2 phone interviews with different members of the team, followed by an onsite panel interview. The onsite experience was great! The panel was very nice, respectful, and very informative on how the process would take place. I was explained in detail who I was interviewing, their role, and given a tour of the company during a break. The questions themselves were actually very straight forward, some caught me by surprised. Lots of problem-solving questions and team collaboration, but expected due to the role responsibilities. After the onsite, I was interviewed 2 more times due to panel interviewers that were not able to meet me during the onsite due to emergency meetings/Esports/reasons. Offer 1-2 weeks after my last call.

Terrible interview process. Far too many interviews for even junior level positions. If you don’t know if you want to hire someone after three interviews, your process is the issue. You can claim it’s about finding “culture fits” all you want, but considering the revelations about the culture of this company, it seems more likely they’re looking for people who will contribute to the toxic boys club and not protest.

The hiring and interview process was lengthy and rigorous. But the people you get to meet over the course of it are interesting and nice. All in all it was a challenging, but interesting experience.

The interviewer called 15 minutes late and apologized. Was friendly at first but once the person found out that I was unfamiliar with specific software applications (none of which were even mentioned on the job description or job requirements), was suddenly belittling me for being inadequate and was no longer interested to talk to me. If the interviewer would have spent time reading my resume, they would have found out that I was unqualified and would have saved both of our time.
