This was my second time in 3 years interviewing with this company. I didn’t think my second experience could be worse than my first, but here we are.
1) I originally passed on this role because - for a SENIOR compliance officer role - the recruiter informed me they were offering $110k at the highest. That is compliance officer pay, not senior compliance officer pay. I said I wasn’t interested unless the pay was higher. The recruiter said she’d ask and get back to me. Two weeks later I received an invite to interview with the hiring manager. No follow up to tell me they’d offer a higher salary and no asking me if the day/time worked for me.
2) I reported this before - when you get to the WebEx interview portion, the invite says “phone interview”. I was prepared this time after last interviews fiasco. This is such an easy fix. Truly laziness on their end.
3) This was my second WebEx interview where the interviewer was not on camera and didn’t offer any reason as to why. For an interview, I find this unacceptable.
4) During the interview, the role described had far more responsibilities than what was listed on the job description. It was combining what is usually 3 departments at competitors AND you were expected to cover/back up two other departments.
