Entretien
Applied online, recruiter called me to ask questions about my experience and then we setup a Google Hangout interview with the VP of Sales and Sales Manager. No questions. They had me present to them from their sales deck as if I was an employee in training. Had only two days to prepare

Question 1
No questions. They had me present to them from their sales deck as if I was an employee in training. Had only two days to prepare and they gave me a very positive review of my presentation skills. I only missed on one thing and that was enough for them to not make me an offer. If you are perfect; which is near impossible by itself, let alone for a company you don't even work for, don't expect an offer. I feel like I really dodged a bullet here, would never want to work for a company or management that expects you to be perfect every call, every presentation. No room for error.

Interviewed with the recruiter and then a sales manager which were pretty standard and relaxing until the meeting with the sales director. That person was very rude and even rolled his eyes at the camera when he didn't like my answer. He was also 10 minutes late to my meeting, In my head I knew I didn't want to work here and companies like this are usually dumpster fires internally.

Question 1
Walk me through the sale cycle at your current job (which he didn't understand how a sales cycle works at a tech company)

Initial Google Meet video call 30 mins in length. Interviewer mentioned that they prefer to promote from within and rarely from outside of the organization. They could not articulate quota expectations or how AEs in a similar role perform. No sense of urgency to fill the position. Red flag that they don't actually believe the position will generate substantial revenue. 2nd interview was a scheduled role play which was rescheduled last minute. They do a decent job with the role play scenario, assuming you assign value to playing pretend.

Easy. They really just want to see if you can do a simple demo and if you aren't to harsh as they speak to churches only.
They have constant turnover and will hire anyone....literally. (they hired someone from jimmy johns after delivering sandwiches for a month)
