I knew the manager which is how I found out about the position. I didn't have any experience prior. The process began with a quick interview, then paperwork, and finally some light studying/written testing of policies and safety procedures. There was also a personality type test. I think I took the policy test too seriously because it seemed like management was less concerned that I learned the material and more concerned I finished everything and got started working. The personality test obviously isn't something that can be studied for, and the desired answers seem very obvious. However, I have heard that some people completely fail it.
