      I recently interviewed with Pagerduty and had an outstanding experience. The HR team was professional, communicative, and made the process smooth and welcoming. I highly recommend Agreduty to anyone seeking a positive and supportive interview experience.

      J'ai passé un entretien chez PagerDuty

      First step - recruiter phone screen, then manager phone screen. The process so far was efficient and positive. I was then asked to submit writing samples to the manager. After s​ending four detailed written samples of how to's, screenshots, and troubleshooting steps on solving various issues, a ​three ​hour on site ​interview ​was scheduled. The on site ​​​included four 1:1 interviews with team members, along with exercises. Post on site impression - great team + great product! I had walked away thinking that this is a company that's worth a longtime career investment!! But it's the final response that left me ​quite puzzled. The comments were incongruent w/one another. Recruiter: "The team felt you were the perfect culture and technical fit, but your responses were too general." Had I'd known that would be the reason I was not given an offer, an e-mail would've sufficed. I am left with much disappointment b/c their response doesn't make sense w/"you're the perfect culture and technical fit...." Is this the real reason? I'll never know. Takeaway - Possible "internal issues" may have nothing to do with one's performance. Stay positive and move on!

We believe that providing feedback over the phone is more respectful of the time you spent with us onsite and provides a more personal touch. We’re sorry you would’ve preferred our feedback via email. We double-checked and the response you received was in fact correct. We believe you were a good fit from a technical standpoint and in terms of culture, but the team felt the responses you provided were too general, lacked empathy and a personal approach to each customer. Again, we strive to provide the best candidate experience possible and apologize if you walked away feeling anything less than positive.
