During the Oracle technical round, I hit a snag with a vague aggregation question. I explicitly told the interviewer I was assuming the use of AVG and proceeded to build out a fairly complex solution based on that. Even though I was narrating my logic out loud, the interviewer stayed completely silent. I only realized afterward that they actually wanted SUM. It’s frustrating when you’re being transparent about your assumptions and the interviewer doesn't provide any course correction. and some oracle tagged questions
