2 fit interviews with separate depts, and likely with HR sizing up.
Depending on luck, some interviewers have their own style and way of sizing a candidate up and unfortunately due to many other reasons is concerning of their culture especially considering their level of seniority. (Yes, I'm talking about their attitudes toward fresh hires, if anything I'd expect a lot of indirect hazing).
That said, my negative experience may have been an isolated one. At least HR was professional.
