Initial phone screening with HR then second 1hr interview with business manager. Phone screening is simple enough, just basic background questions on experience, salary expectations, etc. Second interview went further in depth on experience, questions on what you would do in certain situations, etc. Both interviews pretty typical for the position, nothing too out there, but I'd say their salary expectations are way too low for the position. I asked for 125, was told this position was 100-115, which is very low-ball for Houston. In my case, leaving negative rating as they completely ghosted me after second interview. I understand not continuing with process as that's just how it goes, but ghosting candidates is completely unprofessional in this day and age when everything is automated. They use a fancy AI to take notes during the interview, but don't have the AI bandwidth to send automated reply to candidates when they're not moving forward?
