Got a call a few days after I applied online asking me to come in for an interview. I showed up about 10 min early as I always do. They had me wait on a bench while they got the manager that would be interviewing me. He came within minutes and took me back to his office. Asked a lot of what would you do and name a time when questions, and also took extensive notes on my answers. They were very specific about wanting to know why you handled a situation the way you did and what you learned from it. After about 20 min with the first manager, he said that I was the best interview they had had all day, and that I was the only one who applied who had any customer service experience! I then had an interview with a department manager, who was very friendly and asked a lot of the same questions and took a lot of notes. When the interview was over I thanked them for the opportunity and told them I looked forward to hearing from them, they said they would get back to me in a few days.

Basic interview questions, usually asking about a “time when you...” make sure that you are specific with your responses. Use a lot of examples. Interview questions are the same regardless of department that you’re applying for.
