I recently wrapped up an interview process with Lightspeed, and it was a truly positive experience. The entire journey was well-organised, with clear structure and a reasonable number of interview steps. Great communication. The team was friendly, professional, and transparent. I appreciated receiving timely feedback at every stage, which made the process smooth and stress-free. The test task was challenging but interesting, giving me space to dive deep, think critically, and show my problem-solving approach. Overall, it was a great example of what a thoughtful and respectful hiring process looks like.

The interview process was 4 stages, and took about 2–3 weeks total: 1. Screening interview with recruiter (took about 30 min). We discussed my interest in company and in the position. 2. Team Call with Design Manager and Design Head (took about 60 min) –discuss my experience, case study, research and problem solving approaches. 3. Design Exercise/Home Task 4. Home Task Call - Deep dive on design decisions, where I presented the designs for the home task.
