Interview went very smooth although I had a leg up because I had made contact with the engineer responsible for hiring interns through one of my professors at school.
Others have not been so lucky. It depends on who is doing the interview.

The guy was rude and not personable at all. He was very rude about my gpa even after I explained that I graduated high school a year early. I really think they're just looking for people with really high grades not necessarily personable.

Brief phone interview asking basic questions about my coursework, proficiency in autocad, strengths and weaknesses, etc. It went smoothly and there was no unexpected questions in the interview. It took maybe 30 minutes.
