I applied online and within a few days I received an email request to schedule a phone screening. The interviewer did not call and the scheduled time. After I sent an email to reschedule, another employee called me to let me know my interviewer had gone home sick for the day. I rescheduled for the following day for 1p EST. At 1:10 I had not received a phone call so I sent another follow up message. The interviewer and I were finally able to connect 45 mins after our schedules time. She was not overly pleasant nor overly unpleasant to me; I got the feeling that she did not enjoy her job nor was she knowledgeable about the questions she was asking. She mispronounced many medical terms. She did tell me that she may ask me to stop and repeat myself throughout the interview. Like others have noted, she was clearly reading directly from a script and did not appear to understand when a correct answer was provided (e.g. Describe the purpose of a 1572). Her response to almost all of my answers was a drawn out,'Okay.' On several occasions she did stop me and read to me what she had recorded; her record of my response was incorrect each time. I appreciate that she stopped to ask for clarification, but I wonder if my responses were ultimately recorded properly. The interview was long and very pointed questions were asked; however, I did not think the questions were difficult. Someone who has worked in clinical trials should have no issue answering these questions.

The interview process was relatively quick. However, I eventually ended up interviewing for a different role than the one I initially applied for (IHCRA I). My application to the IHCRA I role was unsuccessful but the recruiter shared my profile for another role (CRA-MEA I), for which she thought I would be a good match. After the initial screening call, I was invited for an interview a few days after. For my specific role questions were not specific at all, rather more situation questions like 'tell me a time etc' were very basic. They wanted to know quite in detail what I was doing in my previous clinical (Assistant) position. Both the recruiters and hiring managers were extremely nice and it turned out to be an informal chat. I really enjoyed meeting them. I got the offer via phone call around 10/15 days after and I accepted it.
