Intense interview process. Starting with HR screening, VP of Sales Training, and 2 back to back interviews with Sales Directors. Final step is to go on site and prepare for a Mock Call Exercise. I was selected for the final round of the interview process which entails two virtual interviews and 1 on-site mock call interview in their Boston office. If you want to waste a whole week interviewing and preparing for it, IANS is the place to be. I received an email less than a day ahead of my in-person (which I had to request off from my current job), saying that unfortunately the team had a discussion and decided my skillset does not align with their product and core audience. Stay away!!! Worst interview experience!!!

Five rounds. HR screening, 3 with members of sale department including direct manager, and an in-person sales exercise.
Positive
- Most of the department interviews were friendly and interview felt like a general conversation.
- Office is welcoming and people looked engaged when in person.
Negative
- Sales exercise is "deliberately vague" but they are looking for a very specific answer/approach. Hidden expectations like amount of time spent studying in portal (they can track your activity) and whether you reach out to the hiring manager for additional information.
- Some interview questions were bizarre (how would you describe yourself in 10 adjectives) and one member of sales team talked about high standards of professionalism needed for position while wearing a sports team sweatshirt.
