Completed an initial application and then a Digital Interview where I was able to answer a few questions with a timer on the clock. I did not make it past this initial stage, but the process was very quick and prompt so that I could pursue other opportunities with little delay on HubSpot's end.

I was offered an invitation to record a video interview. I had never done one before, so I prepared in advance by reading questions on Glassdoor, and looking at the resources they sent. I thought these were very helpful, and I'm glad they pointed candidates in the right direction to prepare. I wasn't expecting to get so many questions about me or "tell me about a time when". I thought they were going to ask "why HubSpot?" or "what is inbound marketing?" which I was more prepared to answer. I tripped up on my answers, and they rejected me. I thought it was fair. I'm glad I got practice recording a video interview, as it helped me with my next one with Bank of America.

This was my second time applying for this position. The first time, I never received a reply to my application. This time, I received a request for a video interview and was happy to accept. The questions were fairly basic and mostly behavioral. I made sure to rehearse my response times with the practice feature, and during the interview, I never went over the allotted time.
I'm not sure what recruiters are looking for with these responses, but I received a generic rejection about a week after submitting. I'm a bit confused, as I did extensive research on the company and made sure that my responses fully answered the prompt. However, I do appreciate that the recruiter took a moment to personally email me and let me know that I wasn't selected to move forward.
