A very long process optimized for candidates who can go through a very long, drawn out process, not necessarily for the best candidates. First, there is a coding assessment they want you to spend three hours on. Then a recruiter interview followed by a hiring manager interview. Then a take-home project they want you to block off five (!) hours for. Then a presentation in front of five junior and senior technical members of the team . That's the gateway to four more interviews. The bright spot in the interview process is that the recruiter was great in communicating, and very helpful in the process, and there was personal feedback at the end. The fact there was feedback was helpful, the actual feedback was too generalized and dismissive to be helpful.

Had an initial screener with HR, went well and work culture seems very healthy. Second round was with a higher up. Conversation was good and mainly focused about past experience which I thought was relevant but was apparently not enough for their needs.
