First round is the coding assessment. HubSpot prides itself in creativity but they literally give the same coding assessment every year for interns and even full-time positions. A company so large should take some time to update its coding assessment. Then came the onsite interview, which composed of two technical interviews and one behavioral interview. Going to onsite, I quickly realized that HubSpot lacked diversity. The interviews went well. Just like the coding assessment, they reuse old questions for interviews word for word. Hence, I asked for different questions. I was surprised that such an "innovative" company uses this poor style of interviewing. Overall, a mediocre interview experience. The company needs to fix its interview questions (please come up with new ones). And it needs to really work on diversity.
