      I applied online and I received an email from a recruiter name Nicholas Chan that he will like to invite me for a video interview to share more about myself. Video interview was pretty alright, there were 6 preset question, you will be given approx. 1 min to read the question and record your answer. About 3-4 days later, I received a call from Nicholas saying that he will like me to speak to the hiring manager via a phone call and will update me same day. Interview with hiring manager went pretty well, however, Nicholas took a few days to come back emailing me saying that he is working out on the face to face interview schedule as I am going for the next round but meanwhile he gave me the question to work on for the demo section of the interview process. I had to download the Hubpost trial and was asked a few demo mostly relating to CSS, it was pretty time-consuming but overall I learned the hang of it and was really interested to learn more. However, Nicholas did not come back to me, sent him a few emails asking for updates but he did not reply to any of my emails, even from the beginning of the entire interview process. Few days later, I received a no-reply automated reply saying that I will not be moving to the next round. Imagine my frustration after spending so much time on the demo and I have an email proof of Nicholas saying that I did well for the phone interview with hiring manager. This experience has been totally unpleasant and has made me question Hubspot's culture code that they pride about. How can Nicholas be so unprofessional? I read another interview having the same experience at the Singapore office , to which no representative from Hubspot replied to her review. I really hope a member of the Singapore team replies me.

      I was contacted on LinkedIn by a HubSpot employee, they introduced the job description and the salary. In my opinion, the hiring process is too long, you have to "pass" 3 stages. Then I booked a 30-minute call with the recruiter, she was very nice on the phone, she made me feel like I was talking to a friend. I passed to the next stage, which was role play with a TL, it was fun, but I didn't pass apparently because I wasn't feeling comfortable with ambiguity.

      Clear communication from the hirer on what the job entails and how the interview is conducted. Got to the 3rd round where I had to simulate assisting a customer with their issues.
