I was referred by a friend. The first call was within two days with the Global Director. It was not at all a standard Q&A phone screening. We talked about vision on tech industry and our interest in traveling. Of course, he was also interested in my previous working experience and achievements but it was a really laid back phone call. Really about getting to know each other a little better.
After the phone screening I was invited for a F2F with the Global Director and Manager. They asked me not to prepare. And of course, I prepared everything I could. Got my STAR examples ready! For nothing.. because the interview was all about culture. After doing a little case to discuss the recruitment data and my vision on that, the rest of the questions were about how coachable I am and the values I thought are important.
Three days after I received a really competitive offer. Which I was happy to accept.

This review is particularly close to my heart because it's my own team, and it sounds like we did everything to make your process as enjoyable as possible. Awesome to hear how well you prepared - and so glad you're on our team! -Becky

Friendly, typical, basic questions. Tell me about yourself, a difficult role to fill, working with HMs, how will you add to the team. Interview process, 4 more after recruiter screen.

Started process with a phone screening lasting about 30/35 minutes with a recruiter.
Next step was interview with one of the hiring managers.
They were 15 minutes late, spent the majority of the interview reading something on another screen, did not seem to be listening to me as I had to clarify aspects of my previous job on more than one occasion as they kept claiming incorrect things about my job.
They also mentioned they had “talked to a a lot of people who worked in my company” and again stated incorrect things about my experience they had just assumed for some reason.
At the end they told me they would read over the answers I gave that were recorded by the AI note taker and make her decision.
Didn’t seem to be listening and seemed to have just had an idea in her head based on talking to someone else in a different department in my old job and wasn’t bothered to consider I might be doing something different.
I had 3 to 4 steps in my process:
Recruiter interview
3 managers interviews
Debriefing session and feedback
Resources were sent by the recruiter
I was smooth but a little bit long (2 months)
