Everybody wants to be heard, but nobody wants to listen. The best way to calm a person, is to just listen to what they have to say, before you try to solve the problem. No one likes to be patronized. You can solve more problem, if you just hear fully to what the problem is. Listening is your best defence to any problem, and it is the best form of communication.
