I had a 2 on 1 interview with two members of Goldman Sachs operations people. I came late and was a little hung over, but I managed to get a second interview. Very frustrating because they give you very short notice about the next interview in the process and expect you to drop everything in order to fly somewhere. In the end they seemed to be emulating the general culture of Goldman Sachs, snobby and fiercely competitive. Not the environment I want to work in. Asked some questions that seemed like traps, like what is more important, efficiency or creativity?

Had inital phone call with hiring manager and was then invited in to the office for a 3 round interview. Interview with hiring manager and team member with normal competency based questions, second round with senior manager which was general conversation and talking about past experience and last interview with 4 analysts from different team talking about career. Hiring manager never came back to me with a response at all.

4 30 minute interviews back to back, never asked me if the times they selected for me were ok, just had to accept that it would be in the middle of the day.
Asked me basic questions like how do I handle difficult situations and what kind of worker I am. Super easy tbh. It’s completely a personality interview, not any questions about experience in specific concepts, for example ability to use excel.
