Entretien
The application process was glacial. I'm convinced that this is a tenacity test, to see how badly people want to work for the company. Having been hired I now know that the HR people in charge of hiring have been overwhelmed and this shouldn't be the case anymore. Part of the company sales pitch is that they hired the best people they could find. This is apparent in the interviews, everyone was quite obviously either extremely proficient or an expert in their fields. The interview questions were nothing special. I was asked how I would explain a particular measurement technique to an engineer without any experience with it. And I was quizzed on a number of semiconductor related measurement and deposition techniques. There were three interviews in all, 1 phone and 2 face to face.

2 Rounds, 90% technical questions. Interview had four people it was for one hour. Felt like grad school qualification exam. From director to hiring manager and engineers. They were nice even i made a mistake and explained well.

Entretien
Manager was extremely friendly. It was a great session. The team asked some technical questions and shared about the role. After the interview when I asked about the interview outcome, even though they decided not to offer me, the manager gave constructive feedback instead of ghosting.
