Store was opening had called and called and finally scheduled for an interview. I had a group interview you really have to "dress to impress" I wore a dress from forever and it stuck out to the employer. Got the job. I was asked if I had retail experience and why I wanted to work for the company. The overall outcome was that I stood out among the rest because I was interested in fashion whereas the others had different careers choices. The difficult question was if I had a lot of retail which I didnt.
It was an in-person interview. It was very easy, and a standard retail interview. lasted around 10 minutes. The manager asked some scenario questions but overall, the questions were pretty straightforward.
It was a casual group interview. I sat down with a manager and another girl who was applying. They just asked a few standard questions about us and our experience.
Interviewer did not seem very experienced. He was rushing the interview and only asked general questions such as where do you see yourself in 10 years… for an entry level job.
